Bit of a raffle this one with plenty out of form. The only last start winner is WONDER KID (4) and while not the only reason for having him on top, it does count for something. He's a former import with some upside, improving out of sight off a poor return at Bendigo to score over this track and trip. He was $26 there but should be fitter again and this doesn't look much harder. DUBLIN JOURNAL (6) was good behind Immediacy here two back which is strong form before an even run in the Casterton Cup last time out. Drier ground would be in his favour and he also wants the pace on up front, which is some query. SAVOIR FAIRE (7) was poor last time but had been coming along okay prior and his best form is good enough. BOLD SOUL (1) backs up from last week which is interesting. That was a slowly run affair won by Saban and he could springboard out of it. I AM THE EMPIRE (10) might be worth a ticket at odds. He's had excuses his past two and likely leads this for fun.
