Good little contest. ELOUYOU (15) has won his past two in fine style at Moonee Valley, leading throughout two back before easing off a hot speed last time and powering away to score by 2.75 lengths. Drops sharply in the weights and getting to 1400m should suit now. WAR MACHINE (8) is a huge chance. He didn't have much luck first up in the Listed Hareeba Stakes at Mornington when well backed. Up to 1400m suits ideally now, he's very talented on his day. Just needs to overcome the wide draw. THE OPEN (12) was just fair fresh at Cranbourne but will be much fitter and did win second up last time in. Could be an improver at odds. REGAL VOW (13) is racing well and only needs to hold his recent form to be in the finish. EL ROCKO (14) got favourable wet conditions last time but has to be considered.
