Very tough. FREIGHT TRAIN (9) has been racing as if he's looking for more ground this preparation, only beaten two lengths in a slowly run race at Flemington last time out. Like him getting to 2000m now from a good draw. PREFERENTIAL (16) is going well, placing in two runs since a win at Ballarat. She should get a nice run just behind the speed and prove hard to beat. FORTUNE (5) is finding it tough to win but is going well, only edged out late over this route last time out in a similar race. Tough draw but with some luck he'll go close. GOLDENSTATEWARRIOR (1) is back in trip from the Adelaide Cup when well backed. Can figure. MUKTAMIL (10) is an each way hope.
