SPEEDY NOVA (8) didn't handle the heavy going at Bunbury last start but will find this a much easier race today. The Pope stable had plenty of success here last week with similar types to this mare. The draw can see her handy in the run and if she can bring her best form onto the dirt, she'll be hard to hold out. CITY MISTRESS (4) just missed here 23 days ago and was only second-up from a long break there. Now third-up into the campaign and if Hearn can navigate the sticky barrier, she'll be right in the finish. WISE WORDS (2) is better than she showed last start where she faded badly after setting the tempo as the race favourite. Back to 1000m now may be the trick and the inside draw is a big tick. Can put her best foot forward. REQUISITION (1) will find this easier than recent races at Pinjarra and looms as a big danger coming back to 1000m. RAKIURA (5) can improve with the blinkers on first time.
