TAKE THE LEAD (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Moranbah over 1550m. Beautifully placed in this contest and is sure to take a ton of beating. HEAT (2) ran below expectations last time at Gympie, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths starting at $10. Well placed and there is no reason why he cannot find winning ways. HURRICANE HALL (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1100m at Toowoomba, beaten 7 lengths into tenth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
