CHINO LA DIVA (1) went close here two back under a big weight and was outgraded at Ascot the latest. Has the inside barrier and is a candidate to lead. Has a handy 3kg allowance and winning claims. ROMANCE CALLING (6) resumes and two back ran a decent number winning her Maiden at Northam. She has plenty of scope for improvement and the 2kg apprentice can use the inside barrier to advantage. The betting should give us a reasonable indication as to her readiness. IF I DIN HAVADIME (7) is third up tackling easier grade. Has to run out a strong 1200m but has a 2kg claim and should be around the mark.
