MORF (5) is likely to skip across and lead and will be tough to peg back following his half-length defeat at Ascot. He stepped up to this distance and is back in grade with a handy 2kg claim. MIDNIGHT STAR (11) resumes and showed enough in her first preparation to suggest she's a chance. Just missed in a recent Lark Hill trial and didn't have much luck when narrowly beaten here on debut. CJP rides and knows her well. XELCIMUS (10) has to manage a wide barrier but has decent claims if things work out. Brings a string of narrow defeats and has been freshened. BACK TO BONDI (9) debuts and has been well educated. Has the blinkers on and is likely to race well.
