Tricky and the betting will be instructive. SOVEREIGN CRUST (11) debuts for the leading metro stable, and Pike's engagement is a decent push for her chances. Has trialled twice, and the filly sits at the bottom of the handicap. Has an awkward barrier, but a bold run is likely. HOLD MY WINE (4) was expected to win at Belmont first-up, but settled back and finished 2.9L adrift. Pike is off, and a 2kg apprentice takes the mount. He must be pleasing and did show plenty when he debuted late last year. ELVIRA STAR (7) resumes in easier and has shown enough to suggest she's a chance. Maps well and has a Lark Hill trial under the saddle. FINDOUT (2) resumes off a long break but just missed in a recent Lark Hill trial. It's an ask, but he should be around the mark in this line-up.
