Verdict

TRULY LOYAL (7) was very impressive on his return, jumping an odds-on pop and scoring by 0.9L in comfortable fashion. He's an exciting gelding on the way up and Pike sticks with him as he jumps straight into Saturday grade. Looks up to this however and can go back-to-back. MIND FIELD (6) impessed last campaign, winning over 1400m before a short break. He's only had 66 days off the scene, but impressed in a recent trial and he too is progressing nicely. Can pick up rfom where he left off. FARNOVA (8) brings in strong form, racing in Open 2 and 3YO races her past couple where she hasn't been disgraced. The blinkers go on now as she rises in trip and she'll take beating if she's at her best. GOD'S GATE (2) has been beaten narrowly his past couple and is on the quick turnaround here. Can play a leading role again. CANNYKEV (1) can build on the solid return effort.
