Leaning to PARTY CRASHER (9). He was only second up going 1400m to 2000m at Flemington but still proved too good over Cup week, winning by a head. He was one of the favourites for the G1 Qld Derby as a 3yo but was a late scratching and we haven't gotten to the bottom of him yet. He should be fitter now and can go on with it. LIBERAMI (1) is racing well, good to the line over 1800m at Flemington last time out in a slowly run race. 2000m is no issue for him and he'll be hard to hold out. HOWLIN' RAIN (2) won the Moe Cup comfortably last time and has claims. POLITELY DUN (14) should be nearing peak fitness third-up and won the only time he raced at this course and distance.
