Won a Maiden by 5L three back on debut, and Bates rides and will use the inside barrier. Tough to roll. UNDER MY THUMB (1) resumes and is also in a sharp metro barn. Showed plenty last preparation and brings jumpout wins from Flemington and The Heath. Maps well and has a handy 3kg claim. Looks ready to go. MR ASSERTIVE (4) led and just missed at Wodonga. Found more like her best in that and will skip over and give a sight. FACTUALLY (10) jumped out well and just missed first-up at Echuca. She's much improved and fitter is in the mix.
