AWESOME BOY (7) led and bolted away when well backed on Quokka Day a fortnight ago, bolting in by 2.8L. The rise in trip doesn't look an issue off that effort and that win suggested it won't be his last. Can go on with the job now in what looks a very suitable event. DENNIS CHOUX (6) just missed in a similar race a fortnight ago when narrowly beaten on the post. This looks to shape similarly and Azzopardi remains in the saddle. Can be in the finish once again. MOJO'S LUCK (4) got a long way back but was only 0.9L off the winner in a blanket finish here first-up. Up to the mile now suits and he's placed 3/4 second-up in the past. Hard to knock on the fresh effort and now draws inside for CJP. SNIPPY SEAN (9) was well behind Awesome Boy last start but now gets Pike. Include. I'M CRAFTY (2) beat home Dennis Choux last start and is not to be discounted.
