GORE POINT managed to get the job done on his recent handicap debut at Newton Abbot, despite not doing everything right, and he looks capable of defying a 6 lb rise in the weights. Star Legend completed an all-weather hat-trick on the Flat last month and he has to be feared back in this sphere, while Pittsburg, who has been in good form over fences, is third choice ahead of Fine Point.
