STRUCK GOLD (5) has been freshened up since turning in a much better effort last start over 1200m at this track, leading for much of the way until being overrun near home. Coming back to 1000m looks a nice option. Sure to give backers a great sight. EXTRAVAGENT LAD (3) won an open class sprint first-up at Orange before a disappointing effort over today's journey at Randwick last time. Back in class today and has placed four from four when third-up. Can bounce back. POKERJACK (4) resumed with a moderate fifth to Extravagent Lad at Orange under a crushing 63.5kgs. Has a strong record at 1000m and with that run under the belt and 6kgs less he should be competitive. DIS IS HEAVEN (9) has been kept fresh since a tough win in a BM82 at Tuncurry on 7 April. Boasts four wins and seven placings from fifteen tries at five furlongs. Good each-way hope. NEGOTIATIONS (2) is a gun first-up performer who must be respected coming off a six-month break.
