ELEVEN BLACK (1) has been improving with each start and ran his best race yet when dropping down to this level on this track, finishing runner-up half-a-length from the winner. He has a superior draw this time and is set to go one better. ADISHAM (4) is a lightly tried local 5-year-old mare resuming from a spell. She was third here on debut and with a recent Warwick trial under her belt, she will be among the hardest to beat in an open contest. APFEL (8) has changed stables since her last start in June when she ran her best race in 5 starts to finish third. She would have matured since then and has the blinkers on for the first time. Each way value, despite drawing wide. HE GOES BOOM (3) is still part of the powerful Tony Gollan team which is encouraging and he has the blinkers on for the first time third up. The extra 100m will suit him and he can figure in the top 3 this time.
