LINAS REEL (3) returned from a five-month spell last start and did a good job to work home into second over 1600m at Ballarat after coming from midfield on the corner. Best run last prep was over 2080m at Cranbourne so this looks the ideal second-up assignment. DEELER (2) improved sharply last time out when lining up for just the third time, boxing on well for third over 1900m at Traralgon. Relished that first try beyond a mile. Capable of testing the top pick. MAURITA (10) showed her first glimpse of form last start when in the placings over this trip at Wangaratta. Very fit mare who should feature in a race with a long tail. OVERLOADED (4) started favourite and worked home well but found one better recently over today's journey at Wangaratta, finishing just ahead of Maurita. In the mix again. ACESALLROUND (1) has raced once at this journey for a minor placing so he is set to improve at the fourth run back.
