Needs a bit of luck from the wide gate but with natural improvement he looks the one to beat. POSITIVO (3) just missed first-up at Albury and has been unlucky in two runs since, the latest over 1300m at Corowa. Finds a weak maiden today so if luck goes his way he is a great chance to break through. WINSTON (7) is back from an 18-week spell. Rated highly in a mile race at Bendigo at his second start which earned him a crack at some black type. Didn't measure up at that level but in this company he is a winning hope despite the lay-off. ELITE LASS (10) is a likely improver and warrants safe keeping.
