REAL INTRIGUE (1) wasn't beaten far in a BM64 over 2520m at Cranbourne two back. Found the 1968m at Yarra Valley last start and bit sharp so best to overlook the run. Nicely placed to return to form. LUNA CHARA (6) wound up in good style to score over 2000m at Wangaratta last time out. Tackling a better race today but she is a winner at the trip so keep her in mind. ZOFFALA (3) hasn't landed a glove in three runs this prep. Strips fitter now and has placed 2/2 over today's course and distance. Likely improver. SALASSI (4) is back in class on his last start midfield finish at Bendigo. In the mix. HIS ZEDNESS (2) was strong at the end of 2000m at Mortlake last start so this looks a suitable assignment.
