Fitter now and will be strong late. HALF YOURS (6) chasing a hat-trick now but must carry an extra 3.5kg for this. Took control of the race in the straight when surging clear for a slick win over most of these in good style last time out. Trip won't pose a problem and stays in the mix. ASSAILANT (11) battled on bravely at his first Australian start when third over 1550m at Canterbury in easier class. Genuine staying type who can come on strongly for this. RISE TO IT (9) building slowly for this trip fourth up and down sharply in weight with Roper's claim. Assess on his good win at Moonee Valley over this trip last November.
