FLYING BANDIT (7) has an excellent winning record and looks to have further improvement to come. Massive first up run, and then jumped to the 1800m when taking care of a strong field at Hawkesbury. Looks well placed in this stiffer test on the limit. Can win again. SAGANTI (3) imported gelding who looks to have come back in good order. Chased right to the line with the 58.5kg when third over 1600m at Hawkesbury. Desperate for this trip and further and will be hard to hold out. ROMA AVENUE (9) had to be used up early from the gate when a tiring ninth over 1800m at Hawkesbury with the 60kg last start. Big drop in weight today and will go to the front and take catching. STATE OF AMERICA (4) appreciated the drop in weight when closing off for a narrow victory over 1600m at Hawkesbury. Has a good record here and expected to go close again. MIRACLE SPIN (8) attacked the line late second up when fourth over 1600m at Doomben. Fitted with a tick over trial and stays in the mix at the weights.
