THECOMPANYSERGEANT has looked as good as ever since joining Gavin Cromwell and having chased home a most progressive winner of the Plate at Cheltenham, he may be able to exploit his lower hurdles mark here. Impose Toi has been a model of consistency in top handicaps, shaping well despite the race not being run to suit last time. He's a serious danger to all, while smooth-travelling Addragoole is no back number for the Cromwell yard and should benefit from this better ground.

Has made a most promising start for new connections since being purchased for 6 figures, shaped encouragingly when third at Naas (20f) over hurdles on stable debut prior to chasing home a highly progressive sort in the Plate Chase at Cheltenham. Races from 8 lb lower back over hurdles. Big chance.

Only beaten by an improver from the Skelton yard when second on handicap debut at Uttoxeter (19.9f, soft) and took another step forward when positively ridden to land a 20-runner handicap hurdle at Aintree (20f), all out to hold on. Progressive but 7 lb rise makes life tougher.

C&D winner posted a career-best when second in one of the lesser Pertemps qualifiers but faced a much tougher task off 5 lb higher in the Final at the Festival, finishing 8th of 24. Handicapper quick to drop him 4 lb and he could have a say back at 2½m if this is truly-run.

Career best when winning 20-runner Grand Annual handicap chase at Cheltenham (15.9f, good to soft) prior to running creditably off lower hurdles mark when 4¾ lengths sixth of 16 to Lord Erskine in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse. Should give another good account.

Bumper winner who made it third time lucky over hurdles in Naas maiden in February. Proved to be a disappointment sent handicapping minus a hood, well-beaten last of 16 behind Lord Erskine at Fairyhouse. No surprise to see hood quickly refitted and too soon to write him off yet.

6-y-o typically travelled strongly when running a career best when third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Cork (19f, soft) 13 days ago, run out it late on having not been suited by the emphasis on stamina. Low mileage sort could improve back on better ground,

Fell on his reappearance this season and was seemingly ridden with a view to restoring his confidence when seventh of 8 in handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe (16.8f) 22 days ago. Headgear again left off and connections may have one eye on Cartmel (landed a decent pot there previous 2 years).
