PRINCE KURO (3) still has plenty to learn but still managed to get the job done at Taree a fortnight ago when leading all the way to win his maiden. He is likely to set the early pace again from a handy gate and will take some pegging back. Go again. MISS MAZERATI (2) won with plenty in hand at Coffs Harbour 9 days ago over 1000m and should now be strong enough to cope with the step up to 1106m here. A 4kg claim will bring her weight down to a more manageable impost, and she can repeat the dose. AYE AYE SKIPPER (5) did not see out 1420m at Grafton as favourite last start and is much better placed over this shorter trip. He will have options from a good draw and can bounce straight back into the money. LAUNCH SEQUENCE (6) was a well-deserved maiden winner here in early January and looked close to that sort of form when finishing third at Coffs Harbour 9 days ago. A wide draw won't help him, but if the gaps come at the right time, he can figure in the finish again. Include.
