The $200,000 Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas. EMIRATE (2) finished less than three lengths behind future stallion Broadsiding at the run before the spell and there are certainly no gallopers of that calibre in this line-up. Revved up for this with two recent trials and gets the deadly Waller/McDonald combination. Should be right there when the judge calls a halt. WANARUAH (3) failed in the G1 Caulfield Guineas before the spell but the four runs to start the career were full of merit. Can bounce back without surprising. SPICY MARTINI (9) has won three of four overall and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Has to be included. The well-related BOSUSTOW (1) (half to G1 winner Amelia's Jewel) is one from one around this circuit and is usually thereabouts. May trouble the judge. SILVER WEDDING (16) also hails from a handy family (full to G1 winner Schwarz) and has earned her shot at this level. Respect any market confidence.
