BARAQIEL (2) has the ratings to take this out. His win two back in the Group 2 Mcewen Stakes at Moonee Valley was very good in fast time, which saw him start $12 in the Group 1 Champions Sprint at Flemington, running well. He's very much suited at the set weights and back around a bend. NADAL (12) is a promising sprinter who looked unlucky not to win at Flemington, held up when getting clear and flashing late. The wide draw should suit his pattern and he's capable of measuring up strongly. REY MAGNERIO (6) beat Nadal at Flemington, showing good heart to break a run of placings. He's a strong chance. ARKANSAW KID (1) struggled in the G3 Sydney Stakes last time but had been flying prior and can bounce back. OSCAR'S FORTUNE (3) needs to get back to his best but that would have him right in the mix.
