BABOUCHE surrendered her unbeaten record in the Cheveley Park on final start of her 2-y-o campaign but she was too keen on that occasion on ground that was probably slower than she would've ideally liked. Down in class here with a tongue strap enlisted and the forecast quicker ground a plus, she will prove a tough nut to crack. Grande Marques was progressive at 2 yrs and is feared most ahead of the selection's stablemate Revoke and British raiders First Instinct and Maw Lam.

Lightly-raced C&D winner. 2/1, 4¾ lengths fourth of 7 to Lake Victoria in Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket (6f, good to soft) on final run of 2-y-o campaign. Tongue strap on 1st time and leading claims for the connections that won this race with Sacred Bridge in 2022.

Thrice-raced winner. Won 9-runner Airlie Stud Stakes (2/1) at the Curragh (6f, good to soft) by ½ length from California Dreamer, suited by increase in trip. Off 10 months and will need to raise her game in order to emerge on top here.

Twice-raced winner. Head second of 13 to Lady With The Lamp in listed race at Dundalk (5f, 5/2) in October. Babouche is the stable No 1 judged on form/jockey bookings but this Blue Point filly is promising and merits respect.

Useful filly. Latest win at Southwell in October. Very good third of 8 in handicap at Dundalk (5f, 5/1) 46 days ago, finishing with running left. Looks nailed-on to add her tally soon on that evidence but probably biting off more than she can chew in this company.
