Tough race. LOVAZOU (3) is going well, placing in her past couple. She stuck on well at Flemington last time out and should be better suited racing around Caulfield where she's won 2/4 over this route. Sets up nicely and should go close. PARIAH PEARL (4) beat Lovazou at Flemington with a handy weight advantage. Now meets her 5.5kg worse off but has to be included. SIRIUS STATEMENT (8) is flying, winning her past two starts. No reason she can't measure up again from an ideal draw. CINEMATIC STAR (16) just missed first up at Sandown Lakeside but should be fitter. Drops 4kg from that and can figure. EXTREME VIRTUE (6) resumes, boasting a strong overall record. She won all three last time in and has to be respected.
