IT'SBRUCE (2) won fresh up by a short head in a slightly easier field at Strathalbyn 3 weeks ago when letting down with a fast finish, courtesy of a good ride. He only has to carry an extra kilo and will relish the extra furlong. Hard to beat again. SALSBURY HILL (10) was close up in a stronger field at Warracknabeal nearly 2 weeks ago, and her overall form has been very good this year. She has won 2 of her 3 starts on this track, and she will be right in the finish again. BANGERANG REDBACK (1) had a tough trip last time out and fought on bravely to finish fifth. He will enjoy stepping up from 1400m to 1550m and can bounce back into the money. Include in all multiples. HEAD OF THE HERD (8) flipped his form around when winning by half a length at Strathalbyn 3 weeks ago. He cops another wide draw and can be hard to catch, but if he can produce a similar effort to last time, then he can't be ruled out of another win. CHARLESFORT (15) drops in class and would not be a shock winner here.
