CRUSADER VOYAGE (1) returns to Sydney for Waller after a couple of good runs in Melbourne to launch this prep. Ridden up on the speed last start and did well to hold on for second, beaten under a length, over the mile at Sandown. That form should hold up strongly. BUCKENARA (3) was close enough on the turn but lacked a kick and just missed the placings when fresh from a spell over 1400m at Newcastle last time out. Returned a career-best figure when second-up over a mile two campaigns back. Likely improver. VILLA CASTINA (11) has found the line well to pick up a couple of minor placings at Hawkesbury since resuming. Gets out over a little more ground now and should prove hard to hold out. O'SHEAMUS (8) is fitter following two runs back from a spell and needs this trip. PERCOLATE (9) hasn't made an impact yet but gets out in trip now so might be one to monitor closely.
