FRANKELY SUBLIME (5) had the run of the race just behind the lead but narrowly failed to pick up the winner on debut over 1200m at Gosford last start. Nicely bred filly who will learn a lot from that outing. McDonald going on adds to the confidence. WINNER OF KOWLOON (8) showed plenty of dash on debut last time out over 1100m at Canterbury but succumbed late and finished third in a creditable effort. Shouldn't have any trouble with the extra furlong on breeding. Sure to give backers a sight. GUNROOM (1) progressed nicely last start at the second run of the prep, leading for home but finding one better over 1250m at the Kensington track. Has a fitness edge on the main rivals and should be in the finish again. HOPPER (2) returns from a 159-day break and has been gelded. Showed ability in two runs last prep. Recent trial winner who is a big market watch. WALK THE PIER (4) is another who resumes as a gelding and might be a big improver.
