Has an awkward gate but if he can slot in or get cover this looks a very winnable race. KIND WORDS (1) closed well to finish third to a subsequent winner over 1400m at the Kensington track when resuming last time out. Three-time stakes placegetter whose has a class edge on this field, although no placings from five second-up runs is a worry. SUPER MIRAGE (9) ran into one dead-end after another so forgive his failure at Warwick Farm recently, the first appearance in 13 months. UK import who should have a lot more to offer. ECLAIR ENCORE (5) was having her first run since the Qld Oaks when a narrow winner over 1300m at Newcastle last start. Talented mare who has placed two from two when second-up so she should be just as effective today. McDonald sticks with SEVEN'S (7) after a disappointing run last time. Worth another chance.
