MARIA PILAR (7) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1200m at this track in a tougher race. Likely improver so she will be hard to beat. RED MOON RISING (1) finished fourth at his most recent outing over 1200m at Wingatui after he got a long way back in the run. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. SHOCKING DELIGHT (9) was not too bad at debut. Wide draw here but still an improver. One for double figures again.
