Hard to find a reason she won't win again. CLANCY (8) returned from an 18-week spell and was lining up for only the third time when a closing fourth over 1100m in a Randwick Midway last time out. Coped with soft tracks last prep so he should be trusted to get through today's conditions. DASHING RUPERT (5) has been given a little reset since a mediocre effort on the main circuit here on Boxing Day. Competitive in Saturday company early in the prep so this is not out of reach. Eight-year-old FANGELA (4) relishes this sort of going and his recent effort to finish third in the Moruya Town Plate had merit. Good each-way option. BRUTALINA (7) is a likely improver at the second run back and dropping in grade.
