COPACABANA (4) returned to form last start with a brilliant all-the-way win over this distance at Warwick Farm, adding to his outstanding seven-furlong record. No experience on a heavy track but has placed two from two on the soft. Big chance to lead all the way again. CANADIAN RULER (1) was having the first run after a seven-month spell when a gutsy winner in open company at Canberra last time out. Returned clearly his best figure last prep when victorious on a heavy track at Hawkesbury. No reason he cannot salute again. BLOW IN (9) has struggled to make his mark this prep, primarily on firm surfaces. Can improve under these more favourable conditions. FIDDLERS GREEN (2) is back after a 19-week spell. Has won two from four when fresh and handles this going. McDonald to ride so it's no surprise he is popular with punters in early betting. ELLE HUDSON (5) resumes. Raced consistently last prep on wet tracks. Will be better for this run but isn't out of contention.
