MISS ENZED (3) was an overdue maiden winner at Timaru 3 starts back and has been close up in a couple of starts since then. She handles bad ground and is seasoned enough to get the job done here. Stick with her. CHASE 'N' GOLD (9) has not won for some time and was a solid fifth on the Riccarton poly track just over 3 weeks ago. He normally settles back and will be running on again in this. Include in all combinations. ON THE RIVET (1) was runner-up by a nose at Ashburton 17 days ago and a winner at Oamaru before that. He is in a good space right now and will drop 3.5kg from his last run. Hard to beat. SECRET WISH (5) has raced her way into form and was third in the same race as her stablemate and second pick last time out. Her only win came here, and she will go close to winning this. THE IMMIGRANT (2) was not far away in fifth against most of these at Ashburton last start, and is due to put his best foot forward. Each way value in an even contest.
