ALBERTVILLE (5) resumed from a long spell after surgery and was too strong as favourite at Kyneton nearly 7 weeks ago. He has had a jumpout and been a late scratching since then due to a track downgrade. He has plenty of talent, and he can take the next step immediately. LET'S TROT (3) led all the way last start when capping off some sound efforts, scoring by well over 2 lengths. SECOND FIX (10) had no cover off a wide trip at Pakenham last time out and understandably weakened in the run home.
