WASHINGTON LILAC (12) led narrowly beaten at Sandown-Lakeside on debut and then started well out of the market on the Hillside and was beaten 3L after a slow start. She will present fitter again and should enjoy the step-up to the mile. DANCING DOLLY (6) has been unlucky not to have broken through. Won a jumpout but looked a run short at Bendigo first-up. She's placed 2/2 second-up and is right up to this. BLANCHE BASS (3) is threatening a win and improved again when beaten 2L at Moe over this distance. She's in the mix on that effort. ANTIQUUS (1) is better than the recent form suggests. Resumed at long odds on the Hillside over a sprint and will be much more competitive over a mile. GEE AND TEE (7) has a wide gate to contend with but is progressing well enough to rate a mention.
