STATE IN TEXAS (3) ran his usual honest race last start, settling behind the speed then lengthening nicely to get up for second in a Class 4 over this distance at the Sunshine Coast. Won't find this as hard - just needs luck from a wide alley to be right in the finish. MISHANI CROWN (7) is back from a 190-day spell. Consistent performer through last prep although primarily in the 1100-1200m range. Draws the fence and can run well while fresh. STARSARISE (11) gave up an early lead to box seat then finished too well last start over this journey at Eagle Farm. Lightly raced mare yet to miss the top three in three tries at 1000m. Sure to give a good account. SPARTACUS (5) of interest first up. Will jump, run and give them all something to chase.
