ESPADAS (5) finished close up in fourth place when resuming from a spell here nearly 5 weeks ago, and was found to have had a cut lip after the race. He has been a late scratching since then, when losing a shoe, and he will be eager to get another run under his belt. Each way. LIECHTENSTEIN (8) raced well in some decent fields during the spring and will be returning from a brief spell here. She won a recent Avondale trial and will have winkers replacing blinkers this time. Watch closely. Can win. MISS MADRIDISTA (6) drops in class from her last couple of starts, and she has won on this track over the trip in the past. A form reversal is on the cards. DROPS OF GOD (13) led all the way to score impressively on debut at Te Aroha just over 3 weeks ago. This is tougher, but Opie Bosson gets down to 56kg, and that is enough to say she can repeat the dose. ALBAROSSA (1) was less than a length from the winner when third fresh up at Trentham nearly 4 weeks ago. He is right in this.
