The lightly-raced EMPRESS ARTEMIS caught the eye with how she travelled through the race when runner-up over C&D last month and could improve again to land a first handicap success. Having offered plenty to work with on debut in a strong maiden, Varshini impressed when winning at Gowran in April and remains capable of much better than shown last time. Course winner Dagoda made an encouraging return over 6f here and looks interesting if able to build on that now stepped up to a mile.
