AIX EN PROVENCE (2) scored a long overdue win when back in class for a tough victory after shouldering the 60kg over 1600m at Gosford. Drops in weight today and gets his chance to run out a strong 1800m. No excuses from the draw. THE YEARS (1) deep into his prep for this after being anchored with the 62kg when sixth over this trip at Randwick Kensington. Will roll forward and prove hard to run down. LOCKDOWN GAMBLE (4) retains his zest for racing and won't now himself with the massive drop in weight with Hunt's claim. Proven at the track and has won over the 1700m. Each way prospect. SUNSOURCE (5) comes back in trip and can surprise some of his more fancied rivals after failing to get into the contest when last at Warwick Farm over 2200m. Cross over nose band goes on and better than the last run suggests. DR EVIL (3) racing well and good enough to take this out.
