SOUL DESTROYER (1) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He has had a couple of trials, and even from a wide gate, he is the one to beat for us. ENCHANTED DELIGHT (5) ran a much better race when finishing runner-up on the Riccarton poly track nearly 3 weeks ago over 1200m. She will be close to her peak fitness now, and another good run is on the cards. UNSHACKLED (8) won a trial prior to finishing seventh fresh up at Riccarton on the poly track. She looked in need of the run that day, and is worth another chance, despite copping a wide gate. WARRIOR OF WAR (9) has been freshened after an average run over 2200m here nearly 8 weeks ago. She is worth another chance from a good draw in this. SHESASCORCHER (13) has more upside than most in this, and she has been back to the trials since finishing fourth at Timaru 5 weeks ago over 1200m. Stick with her on an each-way basis.
