I'M NIPOTE (2) has been knocking on the door all campaign, finishing 0.2L off the winner last start in tougher company. He remains at the mile fourth-up now where he should be hitting his peak after resuming without a trial. Maps for a lovely run in transit and can get the job done. AUDIO BOY (4) finished off nicely last start over 1800m but drops back to the mile now where he was good two back. The inside draw looks a big tick for his chances with Pike remaining in the saddle. Winkers and Tongue Tie go on now and he can put his best foot forward. BATTLE COMMANDER (5) was too good from the front at Northam last start, getting the job done as the race favourite. Back to Saturday grade today where he was sound two starts back. Will prove tough to run down. ACROSS GENERATIONS (7) just missed last start over 1500m and with that added fitness, he can go one better. ROCK IN WONDER (3) can find the front and turn in a bold effort back to the mile.
