HURST HILL was right back to his best when getting off the mark at Newton Abbot earlier this month. That looks solid form for the grade and she appeals most stepping back up in trip. Ocean Legacy has a good record over hurdles for current connections and could be dangerous if getting her own way in front, while it could be interesting if any support comes for Inspector Lynley back off the same mark as when winning here last season.

Temperamental sort who capitalised on his falling handicap mark (after 7 months off) in 7-runner handicap at this course (26.4f) in April but has been more miss than hit subsequently. Back down to his latest winning mark but isn't one for maximum faith.

Returned to form in a change of headgear to win 5-runner handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (27f, good to soft) in April and built on that following a break when second of 11 in handicap hurdle at Cartmel (22.1f, heavy, 12/1) 23 days ago. Claims if in the same form here.

Better effort when placed over this sort of trip on penultimate start and back to his best to win 8-runner handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (21.6f, good, 15/2) 16 days ago, pulling clear with runner-up. That looks solid form for the grade and she remains of interest stepping back up in trip.

Caused something of a surprise following a breathing operation when relishing step up to 3m when landing 9-runner Southwell handicap in April but in nothing like that form when sixth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good to soft) 56 days ago, jumped poorly. Needs more.

Hit and miss since getting off the mark over fences last year, went close from this mark over hurdles at Plumpton in May but arrives on the back of a lesser effort at Bangor (23.2f, good) 16 days ago. Chance if on a going day with cheekpieces back on.

Remains a maiden but arrives in form, strongly supported (despite racing from out of the handicap) when second of 7 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (23.1f, good to firm) 30 days ago. Should give another good account.

Longstanding maiden but did run better than previously this season with cheekpieces on for first time, creditable third of 6 in handicap hurdle (28/1) at Bangor (23.2f, good) 16 days ago. Will need to improve.

Broke his maiden (off this mark) in a novice handicap at this course last July. Has blown hot and cold since, latest run after 4 months off when below form fourth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Fontwell (21.8f, good) 74 days ago. In the mix if he can bounce back to something like his best.

On a long losing run but has performed creditably this season, doing as well as could be expected from 4 lb out of the handicap when fourth of 7 in handicap hurdle (22/1) at Market Rasen (23.1f, good to firm) 30 days ago. Handicapper has given him a chance.
