DESERT WHISPER (5) relished the heavy going last start to win impressively at this track and trip last time out. This is harder, though she's a 3YO on the rise and this shapes similarly to her last start. Can find the front and will be hard to run down. HANCHI (4) was solid last start at Pinjarra last start but drops back to 1000m today. Importantly, Chris Parnham now takes the ride and the inside draw should see him close to the speed. At peak fitness now off a long spell and appears poised to strike. MADHI GIRL (8) finished off strongly as favourite in Open 3YO company when beaten 0.9L. The inside draw should see her closer to the speed this time around and she drops 6kg. Pike remaining in the saddle is a big tick and it wouldn't surprise to see her right in the finish again. AIN'T NO OTHER MAN (2) has trialled well coming in and has claims first-up. SINFUL LIVING (1) was solid in the Beaufine and she'll find this easier. Can give a bold sight.
