BOBBY'S FORTUNE was much improved when overcoming a pace bias to land a first hurdles success at Ffos Las last month and he remains of interest from this sort of mark. He can get the better of two-time course winner Gore Point who arrives better than ever, as does hat-trick seeking Sergeant Fury, for whom this is more of a test back in handicap company.

    Verdict
Made the most of a good opportunity back in maiden company winning a 5-runner affair at Huntingdon (15.8f) prior to defying a penalty in straightforward style in novice company at Stratford (18.6f) last month. As good as ever bidding for a hat-trick but faces tougher opposition back in a handicap.

    Verdict
Left previous hurdles form behind following a wind op when off the mark over hurdles at this course (16.8f, good) in June. Improved when runner-up to a next time winner at Worcester prior to making it 2-2 over a longer trip here (18.5f) 6 days ago. Carries a penalty but is going the right way.

    Verdict
Duly built on promise shown earlier in the year when showing much improved form to decisively win a 7-runner handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (15.8f, good to soft) 45 days ago, travelled well and overcame a pace bias in the process. Could be the one to beat. Engaged 2.50 Cartmel Saturday.
