THE NAVIGATOR is in much better heart than his recent form figures might suggest and is now 4 lb below his last winning mark. He should be suited by the step back up in trip and can notch another course win at the expense of Top Flight Century, who shaped as though still in form when runner-up over 2m at Perth and now steps back up in distance under a good conditional. Burgundy Man arrives on the back of his best performance for current connections and is also respected.

Back on the up in recent months, building on recent promise when getting off the mark at Perth (20.2f) prior to following up in gritty fashion in a 7-runner handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (23.1f, good to firm) 31 days ago. In fine heart but may need to improve again to land the hat-trick.

Twice a winner here the most recent coming in convincing fashion in this race last year (off 3 lb lower). Ran creditably over this C&D when third (following 4 months off) 56 days ago, may have done better but for a notable error (winner has boosted the form). Should give another good account.

Confirmed promise of previous run when winning an 11-runner handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f) at the beginning of this month and shaped as though still in from dropped in trip when runner-up behind a down-in-grade winner back at Perth 8 days ago. Makes appeal up in trip under good value conditional.

Remains a maiden but arrives in the best form he's been in for current connections, again ridden more positively when runner-up for the second consecutive race at Perth (23.9f) earlier this month, puling clear of rest. Should be in the mix once again.

Veteran bagged 3 more handicap wins in the first half of last season and is in better heart than recent form figures suggest, going with plenty of zest under a more positive ride at this track last time, only to be derailed by a blunder. 4 lb below last winning mark and should go well up in trip.

9-y-o mare who recorded second success of 2024 at Plumpton (25f) in October. Didn't fare at all badly in defeat in trio of starts thereafter last year and left the impression she'd sharpen up for her reappearance sixth at Worcester (23f) 18 days ago. Mark now eased and has won over this C&D.

Opened his account over hurdles on first start for this yard here in summer 2023. Hasn't stood much racing since but proved there's still a bit of ability there returning from 10 months off when runner-up at Hexham (16.2f) from out of the handicap last month. Interesting but has stamina to prove.

Fairly exposed type but excelled herself when runner-up over hurdle at Musselburgh (19.8f) in March, having controlled the pace. Unfortunate to be brought down on chase debut but ran poorly back over hurdles at Perth (16.2f) 18 days ago. Drops into a 0-100 and isn't ruled out back up in trip.

Ended time with Padraig Roche in Ireland out of sorts and hadn't shown for current connections prior to showing that he retains some ability when a well held fifth at Uttoxeter (20f) last month. Will need to build on that performance if he's to capitalise on his falling mark.

2023 C&D winner shaped as if retaining plenty of ability after 19 months off prior to falling last in a Perth (24f) handicap hurdle but failed to come on for that run when pulled up over the same C&D earlier this month. Has a bit to prove now from 3 lb out of the handicap.
