Ballinrobe

TOMAS O MAILLE proved as good as ever on his two most recent starts at this track and back down in trip, he can record another win. Son of Hypnos has bounced back to form in recent Galway outings and should remain competitive at this level. San Aer returns to hurdles following some eye-catching Flat performances, notably when finishing strongly at Galway despite being forced wide, while Desert Haven ran well when second over this course previously and should appreciate the return to hurdling.

Disappointed most recent hurdles start but promising fifth at Curragh in May. Seventh of 18 in Flat handicap at Galway (11/1) 11 days ago, finished with good effect but left with too much to do after being forced wide. Chance if he can translate his Flat form back over hurdles.

Course winner has been inconsistent with significant gaps between appearances, finishing fifth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Sligo (18/1) 29 days ago after 14 months off. Clearly hasn't been the easiest train and remains to be seen if he can build on reappearance effort.
