STORMCHASER (1) was put aside after having 1 start in the spring, and for whatever reason, he is only having his second start this season. He showed a stack of ability as a 3-year-old, and only has to reproduce that sort of form, to be hard to beat in this fresh up. Use the market as your best guide. DEAMBER (8) raced well through a spring campaign and was beaten by a nose in her last run before having a break. She will be a lot stronger this year and has been placed twice fresh up in the past. She has a good record on this track and would not be a shock winner. GOLDEN VALE (6) is a very handy filly who has been holding her own since winning here at the beginning of February. She was only a neck from the winner here 2 weeks ago over 1000m, and with the advantage of the pole position, she can go one better. BLUE ROCKET (7) is another versatile filly who has been in good form. She drops 3kg from her last start effort for third, and William Pike sticks with her. Each way all day.
