AGARWOOD (1) is a Wootton Bassett half-sister to Lilac on debut for Waterhouse/Bott. Thrashed her rivals in a recent 1045m trial at Randwick. Tim Clark should sool her along and she will be mighty hard to catch. SYLPH (13) started favourite on debut over 1100m at Hawkesbury four weeks ago but missed the placings after a slow getaway. Very green that day so if she matures following that run she can play a big role. LIPSTICK (5) had every chance but found one better in the slush at Newcastle first-up. Beaten four lengths by Tempted at her only other run back in December. Likely improver on top of the ground. VINGT NEUF NOIR (10) blew the kick and was never a hope at her only appearance in the Inglis Nursery in December. Trialling well and should have something to offer. Capitalist filly NAZWAH (7) debuts for Peter Snowden. Half-sister to recent Sangster winner Charm Stone. Randwick trial winner who looks ready to run well.
