LOFT (5) was heavily backed to win a maiden hurdle here on March 28, and while he did a few things wrong jumping-wise, the one time Melbourne Cup fancy's flat prowess shone through to win narrowly. Expecting he improves sharply from that and can win again. BITCOIN (4) won a maiden hurdle as favourite at his jumps debut as well. Have to respect the Pateman polish, he'll be there to pounce if Loft makes any mistakes. ROAD RUNNER (6) is lightly raced, beaten narrowly as favourite at his Australian jumping debut at Pakenham. He's a former New Zealander and can improve quickly. TREASURED CROWN (2) was dominant winning a maiden hurdle here over the smart Prismatic, with a big weight swing. Have to respect again. NOONDAY GUN (1) beat Road Runner at Pakenham and is right in the mix.
